This is an NDC for one of the UK’s best known grocery convenience retailers. Product flow is extremely rapid and there are significant investment plans for the facility. In this role you will provide strong leadership to an established team and play a key role in driving operational improvements through the people as well as capital investment programmes.

A background in grocery distribution is preferred. This role is expected to provide succession planning for the Director of Logistics.

This is a niche business with dominant market share of it specialist field.  The company supplies consumer products using multiple distribution channels.

In this role you will manage the home delivery, direct-to-customer operation, which includes all elements of third-party contract management, customer service and operational support.

Your background will ideally include some experience of home delivery. This role is very broad-based and will require you to drive improvement projects and initiatives, as well as managing the day-to-day logistics operation.
